Thank you to everyone who supported our Christian Aid Week collection this year. The total raised now stands at £1049.84.  We know that some of our regular supporters gave online and it is likely that other recipients of the new-style envelope will also have donated this way too, so the actual sum is greater than that, in addition to the almost £800 we raised during Lent with the other congregations in Heaton Churches Together.  This is a great witness and is much appreciated, thank you to everyone!
A very special thank you to Sue Flood who has masterminded the collection for many years, raising over £25,000 during her stewardship of the role, a magnificent effort!  We are seeking a volunteer/volunteers to carry on the good work supporting the world's poorest people, feel free to speak to Sue or Robert if you'd like to find out more!
