St. Francis Church exists to reveal Christ through worship and loving service. We seek to be a Church which encourages openness of heart and mind, helps all to grow in their relationship with God, and supports the building of community. These values are based on the example of St Francis of Assisi who showed us joy, love and humility.

The Eucharist, the meal of bread and wine Jesus gave us to celebrate all that God has done and is doing, is at the heart of our common life. We celebrate the Eucharist at 8am and 9.30am every Sunday, as well as meeting for prayer at other times and for special events. You are very welcome to join us at any service, even if you have never been to church before. See the calendar for up to date information.

We are available for Weddings, Christenings, and Funerals, and if you are interested in any of these services please do get in touch.

We also seek to serve our local community by making our hall available for people and groups to use. Contact our Hall Bookings Manager to see if we might be able to help with your event.
