WELCOME TO ST FRANCIS CHURCH!

St. Francis Church seeks to reveal Christ through worship and loving service. We aim to be a Church which encourages openness of heart and mind, helps people to grow in their relationship with God, and supports the building of community. These values are based on the example of St Francis of Assisi who showed us joy, love and humility.

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and in the light of Government guidance concerning non-essential contact, all public worship and other activites were suspended in March. Since Monday 6th July we have begun to offer public services observing social distancing and good hygiene.  Up-to-date information is in the Notices in the left-hand sidebar of this homepage. You can read the Church of England's latest guidance HERE.

Meanwhile we continue to live a shared life of worship, community and service wherever we find ourselves. We update our website regularly to provide resources for prayer and worship at home, and post weekly messages, news and notices. Please explore our website, and keep checking back for new content.  We wish you peace and all good!

Welcome to St Francis Church!

St. Francis Church reveals Jesus Christ through worship and loving service. We encourage open hearts and minds, help people to grow in their relationship with God, and support the building of community. We follow in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi whose values were love, joy and humility.

Sunday worship is in Church at 10am.  Hand sanitizer is available, most people still wear face coverings (but are not obliged to do so) and at communion we operate a one way system with the option of receiving from the chalice.

We strive to live a shared life of worshipcommunity and service wherever we find ourselves. You can find resources for prayer and worship at home below, and we post weekly messages, news and notices.  We wish you peace and all good!
